- Training and Research Experiences in Nonlinear Dynamics (TREND REU) at the University of Maryland – UMD College Park offers an exciting NSF-sponsored REU (research experience for undergraduates) summer program for physics, mathematics, and engineering students from institutions across the country to collaborate with scientists conducting research in nonlinear dynamics. Students from a variety of universities and backgrounds work for 10 weeks during the summer under the mentorship of faculty from physics, mathematics, and engineering. - Sacramento State Stem Cell Master’s Program – Students in this program take three semesters of graduate-level coursework at Sacramento State and also participate in an 8-month research internship with research faculty at UC Davis working in the field of regenerative medicine. During the 8-month research internship, students are provided with a $3,000/month stipend and tuition support to enable a full-time effort in the lab.
