Northern Arizona University Strength and Conditioning Spring Internship Position
Northern Arizona University is looking for Strength and Conditioning interns during Spring! This internship will include experience such as coaching various Division I Sports teams, using state-of-the-art technology (Nordboards, Force Decks, Run Rockets, Tendo Units and Catapult), and a state-of-the-art sports science center, working collaboratively with other support staff, and learning from various strength and conditioning coaches with a wide variety of backgrounds.
The internship runs from January 15 to May 12. The deadline to apply is December 15. For more information, please see the attached flyer.
Morro Bay High School Winter and Spring Athletics Internship Opportunities
Winter Quarter: January 9 - March 17
Sports Management Position:
- Working directly with the athletic director of Morro Bay High School, this position will include working on fall and winter 2023/2024 scheduling and transportation coordination and facilitating team and volunteer check in during a 60-team wrestling tournament on January 20-21st. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the development of a social media presence for our athletics programs on Instagram and Twitter. Nearing the end of the position, the intern will be coordinating youth nights for our basketball and soccer programs and coordinating with the City of Morro Bay Parks and Recreation on having youth basketball and soccer during half time of high school varsity games.
Spring quarter: April 3 - June 9
Sports Management Position:
- Working directly with the athletic director of Morro Bay High School, this position will include working on spring 2024 scheduling and transportation coordination. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the development of a social media presence for our athletics programs on Instagram and Twitter. Nearing the end of the position, the intern will be coordinating youth nights for our baseball and softball programs. In coordination with our ASB Leadership class and local elementary schools, we will also be hosting a miniature Olympics event. This intern will help coordinate this event and supervise athletes leading elementary students through competitions.
