ASI Secretary of Health and Wellbeing Position

ASI Student Government is currently recruiting for a Secretary of Health and Wellbeing that serves on the Executive Cabinet under the ASI President. This volunteer position builds leadership skills, is an ASI/Cal Poly public health liaison, and ultimately gives students a safer and healthier environment to learn.

 

Job Description includes:

•  
• Expand conversations surrounding mental health on campus. Create body positivity efforts on campus. Works closely with PULSE and Campus Health and Wellbeing to ensure students are educated about how to promote their mental and physical wellbeing. Work to improve safety on campus.  
•  
• Supporting survivors through working with Safer and Title IX. 
•  
• Advocating for more nutritional and inclusive meal options on campus. 
•  
• Work with the Department of Justice Grant for Gender-Based Violence Committee in the Be That Mustang campaign. 
•  
• Promote CalFresh services to students. 
•  
• Preferably someone majoring in a health-related field, but all are welcome to apply. 
•
