Innovations in Access to Care (IAC) conference

University of Virginia School of Medicine is hosting their 2nd annual conference on (virtual) May 6th, 2022.

Interested in leaning how to use technology, policy and volunteerism to better serve patients with limited English proficiency? Looking for an easy and quick way to demonstrate continued commitment to improving healthcare even during the present pandemic? Consider registering and tuning in for the Second Annual Innovations in Access To Care (IAC) Conference! The IAC conference aims to connect healthcare problem solvers with engaging programming that dives into pressing real-world challenges, and promotes health-tech innovation for overlooked populations.

Last year, we had great turnout with some amazing speakers including the chief executive officer of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. This year’s theme is centered around serving patients with limited English proficiency and how we may work to improve access for this population. This meeting will take place Friday, May 6th from 12-4 pm EST, and will feature various speakers from the three domains of digital health, policy, and community service. Please avail this easy resume-boosting and perspective broadening opportunity, and feel free to come-and-go for recorded sessions, live programming, and abstract symposium breakout rooms. Interested students may register for free at https://www.iac-now.com/r.
We are also hosting an abstract presentation session and we invite students to submit and present their work pertinent to these topics.
You can register to attend the conference and/or submit abstracts at https://www.iac-now.com/r. Please submit abstracts by 11:59 pm on April 30, 2022.
