Dear Pre-Meds and Wilderness Medicine Aficionados,As COVID continues to make things difficult for all of us, we wanted to share some unique opportunities. In 2022 the University of Colorado School of Medicine will continue to offer both its on-line and in-person programming for pre-health undergrads, recent grads, and post bacs.Here is what we’ve got coming up this year: 

Online Pre-Med/Pre-Health Offerings:

Virtual Shadowing

  • FREE access to all students!
  • 2 courses of 9+ videos each to learn from
  • Optional Certificate of Completion from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, with completion of brief quizzes, can be purchased for $50

Basic Wilderness First Aid

  • Earn a certificate in BWFA from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, right from home or campus.
  • Open to all students worldwide!

    Colorado Emergency & Wilderness Medicine

    • Learn about emergency and wilderness medicine and get the inside scoop on med school admissions from University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty
    • Earn Wilderness First Responder and CPR certification
    • Limited need-based scholarships available or save $150 with early bird discounts
    • Classes include med school labs (ultrasound, cardiac dissection, suturing, etc.)
    • Enjoy authentic wilderness adventures (rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, etc.) at a camp high in the Rocky Mountains
