LMSA is currently recruiting students, including undergraduate and recent graduates, with interests in health sciences and Latinx health to attend their 2022 LMSA West Regional Conference hosted by UC San Diego School of Medicine on February 18-19, 2022. This conference is focused on providing mentorship and career development for undergraduate students interested in healthcare professions.
The theme of this year’s conference is: Nuestra Gente Resiliente: Empowering Our Communities and Building Our Future. We have dedicated programming for pre-health students on February 19, including workshops focused on medical school admissions, health inequity in the Latinx community, leadership building, and policy.
