UPDATE: MCAT Scholarship Application due NOVEMBER 14 and *FREE* Organic Chemistry MCAT course

The
Department of Chemistry at Clemson University is working on efforts to improve access to higher education.

MCAT Preparation programs can cost thousands of dollars and they provide a decided advantage to those who can afford them in terms of scores and entry to medical school.

The program they work with currently has 237 full scholarships for a high quality MCAT preparation program prepared by faculty from biology, physics, psychology, sociology and English departments.

They are especially trying to get scholarships to students from groups underrepresented in the medical profession and to first-generation college students to give them an equal opportunity for improved MCAT scores, medical school admission, and ultimately to increase their entry to medical professions.

Current applications are due NOVEMBER 14. Students can learn about the program and access the scholarship application here:

The application is a simple Wix form and should take a student <15 minutes to complete.

You can evaluate the Organic Chemistry MCAT course to see whether you find it to be a quality program. The other courses are designed similarly. You can ’enroll’ for free to see all content, including videos, quizzes and an MCAT organic review text.
