Exploring Public Health and Applying to Grad School Webinar

In an effort to improve access to information and resources for students interested in the health professions, the SHPEP National Program Office (NPO) will be hosting the Exploring Public Health and Applying to Grad School webinar on Tuesday, August 24, at 5:00 p.m. ET. 

During this session, Tracie Seward, Senior Director for Outreach & Recruitment at the Association for Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), will review career and educational opportunities in public health, the application process, and resources to help you find your fit. There will also be ample Q&A time, so be sure to bring all of your questions about public health!

What is the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)? 

SHPEP is a FREE six-week transformative summer experience for college freshman and sophomore students interested in the health professions. The program offers opportunities to explore health careers, including dentistry, medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and public health. SHPEP scholars have a legacy of success: over 65% of scholars who apply to medical and dental school are accepted.
