The UC Davis Health Professions Post-Bac Program is a 12-month program designed for any health profession that the UC Davis Health Professions Advising Office advises on (click here to view the list).
"[Their] program has several unique features designed to address the whole applicant's needs, including upper-division science coursework, optional reinforcement courses in chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics, year-long in-house test preparation, and seminars in Learning & Test Taking strategies, Medical Terminology, Narrative Medicine, and Application Preparation. Because [their] program will start each January and end the following December, [they] will have over 6 months of wrap-around advising services to prepare their health profession applications before the next cycle begins. Students will also select one of the following tracks: Clinical (EMT) or Health Equity, providing them with a culminating experience during the summer quarter. [They] will offer a high-touch advising model, as well as a committee letter."
The application for the cohort starting in January 2022 closes on July 23rd, 2021. They accept students on a rolling basis, so it is encouraged to apply early. You can find the application on PostBacCAS.
