LightHouse Scholar is delighted to announce that their scholarship application is now open. They are offering two scholarships for 2022/2023 academic year: the $5,000 Pre-Med Purpose Scholarship and the $10,000 Purpose Freshman Medical Student Scholarship.
$5,000 Pre-Med Purpose Scholarship
"Lighthouse Purpose Scholarship was created to support disadvantaged pre-medical students in their medical aspirations. This scholarship is awarded to a new sophomore or junior premedical student beginning in the 2022/2023 academic year. The scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated financial need, exemplifies commitment to a dream despite unfavorable odds and has maintained an outstanding GPA. All students are welcome to apply."
$10,000 Purpose Freshman Medical Student Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a new freshman medical student beginning medical school in the 2022/2023 academic year. The scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated financial need, exemplifies commitment to a dream despite unfavorable odds and has maintained an outstanding GPA. All students are welcome to apply."
The application deadline for both scholarships is April 30, 2022.
