UCSF School of Dentistry - Hispanic Student Dental Association Presents: Building Bridges

Building Bridges is a collaborative effort between the UCSF School of Dentistry and UOP Arthur A. Dugoni which consists of a one-day virtual outreach targeted towards pre-dental students who demonstrate potential to serve in areas of high dental need upon completion of dental school. The event is scheduled for April 10th, UCSF session running from 8:00-12pm with lunch from 12pm-1pm. Our goal is to help provide pre-dental students with resources that will help them get accepted into a dental program.

The conference includes:

  • Student panels
  • Narratives of specialists and general dentists from underrepresented backgrounds
  • Simulation lab exercises
  • Anatomy lab exercises
  • Long-term mentorship post-conference to help attendees throughout their dental school cycle
  • How to navigate through the DAT, application cycle, interviewing, and life in dental school.
  • And much more!
Grubhub and prizes will be raffled to attendees. Additionally, scholarships will be awarded to applicants who apply in the Qualtrics link. Deadline to apply to attend Building Bridges and be considered for scholarships is March 29th. The Qualtrics link to apply to Building Bridges is:  https://ucsf.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3jVs7xjyttpy03I
