"River Way Ranch Camp, located in the foothills of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, is currently hiring summer camp counselors. The camp has been working with the CDC, American Camp Association, and American Academy of Pediatrics to implement additional operating guidelines, and is looking forward to offering a resident camp program for children ages 7-16 again this summer. They are searching for college students who are passionate about working with youth in the outdoors and who would love an opportunity to further their education and training. The camp provides over 55 hours of in-depth training, including American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED, Ropes Challenge Course Facilitation, child behavior and emotional skills training, and more. Furthermore, the work focuses on developing critical soft skills such as reliability, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
