On behalf of the Pre-Physical Therapy Club at USC, you are invited to (virtually) attend the sixth annual Southern California Pre-Physical Therapy Conference on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, from 10:00am to 3:00pm PST.
After a successful event last year, we would love to have you join us for a day of panels tailored toward undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in the field of physical therapy. Physical therapists from several different specialties and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs all over Southern California will be discussing the diversity of the profession, as well as the admissions process to get accepted to a DPT program. We hope for students to create lasting professional connections with other Pre-Physical Therapy students and accomplished physical therapists within the region.
Conference Includes:
A Keynote Speech from Dr. Christopher Gerona, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Sports Specialist, and adjunct faculty of Clinical Physical Therapy at USC
A Research Panel with Physical Therapists from a variety of focuses like Pediatric Mobility, Stroke Rehab, and more!
A Business Owner Speech from Dr. Aaron McGuinness, Owner and Physical Therapist at Aspire Physical Therapy (multiple locations!)
A Specialties Panel with Physical Therapists from a variety of specialties like Neurology, Pelvic Health, and more!
An SPT Panel with DPT students in their first, second, and third years
Networking Fair with representatives from several DPT Programs
