Sierra Vista Hospital is allowing students interested in clinical and clerical volunteering to submit applications via their website for the upcoming school year. Though they are currently not accepting any new volunteers, we still encourage you to complete and submit an application to be put into their database of interested volunteers. If the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic improve and a position that aligns with your indicated interests opens up, the hospital will contact you.
Volunteer areas of interest include:
- Front Desk
- The Gift Shop
- NICU Cuddler Program
- Emergency Services
- Special Projects
- Student Volunteers
Keep in mind that submitting an application is not a guarantee that you will receive a position, and that all hospitals are trying to keep foot traffic at a minimum in order to protect patients and their families, providers, and all hospital staff. It's likely that volunteers will not be allowed back into the hospital until there is an effective coronavirus vaccine, so please be patient in waiting after submitting your application.
