American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) Undergraduate Mentorship Program

The American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) will be starting its seventh year of its Undergraduate Mentorship Program, which seeks to connect APSA students (MD, DO, MD/PhD, and DO/PhD) with undergraduates who are interested in careers as physician-scientists in one-on-one mentor-mentee relationships

The application for the program can be found here and is due October 15, 2020.

Aside from their undergraduate mentorship program, undergraduate students can become associate members of APSA to have access and up-to-date information about all of these opportunities. They also can help students start local chapters if interested in developing more resources on a local level. Undergraduates can also find out more relevant information through the Undergraduate Resources webpage here!

Please reach out to askmentorship@physicianscientists.org with any questions.

APSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources for aspiring physician-scientists trainees. Physician-scientists are important to the future of medical advancement and working to improve the way medicine is practiced in all different fields, and APSA is a great resource for students interested in academic medicine and applying to MD, DO, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD programs.
