Dr. Kimberly Manning, MD, reflects on the intersection between COVID-19 and the fight against ongoing racism throughout our country. As a physician, she highlights the mourning and emotion that these pandemics have brought about and brings up the issue of health disparities and the leadership role that healthcare providers have in the fight against these concurrent pandemics. Dr. Manning ends her article with suggestions for the next steps that we must take as "was all grieve--and act--together."
