Job Description
Achieve TMS Center is part of the nation's largest provider of TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) treatment, specializing in breakthrough treatment modalities for the treatment of psychiatric conditions. We employ a highly compassionate staff who treat patients on a daily basis in a professional, outpatient setting.
TMS is an innovative approach for treating neurological and psychiatric disorders. It is a non-invasive form of brain stimulation that uses an MRI type coil to send magnetic pulses to improve neuronal connectivity and brain function.
We are looking for motivated and compassionate individuals who have a background in psychology, neuroscience, and/or other biological sciences, or are looking to pursue careers in the medical field. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
● Administer daily TMS treatment in a professional, office setting
● Monitor patients while receiving treatment
● Create and maintain medical records in our EMR system
● Provide medical interventions in an emergency situation
● Conduct in-person intake consultations with new patients
● Perform equipment positioning for TMS treatment sessions
● Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy
● Follow established treatment and office procedures
● Communicate effectively with supervisor and other staff
● Work independently at specified center
Education:
● Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, and/or biological sciences preferred.
● Associates Degree in related field required
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time position (20-30 hours a week) with potential for full time (40 hours per week), depending on number of patients. This position occasionally requires long hours and some weekend work
Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 /hour
