Vituity at Marian Regional Medical Center Emergency Department is currently hiring for Medical Scribes! This is a great opportunity to get involved and gain experience while contributing to the growing healthcare needs. The position offers flexible schedules to plan around classes, yet still requires a strong commitment.
Position requirements:
- ER prefers a more open availability in terms of scheduling (being able to work a variety of different shifts throughout the week)
- A minimum of a one year commitment (continuous one year, not just a summer position)
- Each scribe works 2-3 shifts per week (including weekends and holidays)
- Knowledge of human anatomy or human physiology is preferred (if you have taken the classes relating to these fields, that is ideal)
- Pay is $13.00 per hour
This is a great opportunity to work with a physician in the Emergency Department, while also growing your own skills and competencies related to patient interactions, medical terminology, and understanding different forms of treatment/care.
