A recent article shared by the DO, an online news source for the osteopathic medicine profession, outlines the story of two Texas medical students who are seeking to address mental health by "educating listeners, fighting stigma, and sharing real-world experiences."
The MIND Mental Health Podcast, started by two medical students at the UNT Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, addresses a number of topics that commonly affect students and professionals in a number of healthcare fields. These include imposter syndrome, anxiety, depression, and substance use, among many others.
"The overarching message MIND wants to share with students is that 'it's OK not to be OK.'"
