A Cal Poly DRC student is seeking a Personal Care Aide

One of our students with physical limitations is in need of an additional personal care aide for the upcoming quarter. Here is the message and job description from the student!

"I am an ADA Cal Poly student who uses a wheelchair, lives in the Cerro Vista apartments on campus, and I need your help!

I’m looking to hire a personal assistant for an available morning shift Tuesdays-Fridays beginning Tuesday, January 7, 2020.  The daily assistance I would need include: transfers to/from my wheelchair, some meal prep, laundry if needed, light physical therapy and catheter care. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY and pay is $15/hour. Looking for students who are reliable, caring, fun and enjoy service dogs. Employment will be through IHSS and an orientation will be required. The PCA (Personal Care Aid) may be required to participate in a background check.
