Tulane University just launched a one year Master's program designed for pre-med students looking for a "gap" year training program in research methods.
Tulane's Department of Public Health has trained future leaders in clinical research for many subjects, including hypertension, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and obesity.
