What is a Scribe? The central role of a medical scribe is to relieve the physician of clerical and secretarial duties by performing documentation on the physician’s behalf. As a scribe, one observes the physician during patient encounters and enters information into the patient’s electronic or written chart under the direction of the physician.  For more information check out their application website.
